CNet has an image gallery of online personal health tools: taking your health record with you.
There's a pretty sizable group of consumers who are going online and using Web 2.0 tools to not quite manage their own health but at least to communicate with others," according to Matthew Holt, co-founder of the Health 2.0 event and author of The Health Care Blog. "(Companies) are trying to make a connection between the data that exists in various places in the health care system and those consumers (who) want to be proactive in their health."
Ah, but do the EHR's include the pathology information? They should :)

I think that's great - the more of us who are using these tools, the better they'll be. I use HealthVault (http://www.healthvault.com/Personal/index.html) to keep track of my weight and BP, and have stored some old info like my last tetanus shot so I don't have to worry about it. I suppose ultimately we'll have interlinking systems that include pathology reports and who knows what else, but so far, so good!
